Her work is a unique amalgam of Bulgarian folklore, a touch of Italian flair and modern symbolism.
She graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia under Prof. Venko Kolev and Prof. Georgi Kolarov in 1966. From 1967 to 1990 she worked at the Center for New Goods and Fashion in a design bureau for designing models and decors made of glass, porcelain and ceramics. She regularly participates in all general art exhibitions of decorative arts organized by the Union of Bulgarian Artists. She has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 1972. She participates in a number of international symposiums and biennials for ceramics in Vallauris (France), Vilnius (Lithuania), Faenza (Italy). She participates in international exhibitions in Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, the Emirate of Kuwait and the USA. She received several international awards for ceramics, including the Quadrennial of Applied Arts in Erfurt, Germany; National Youth Exhibition (Bulgaria); National General Exhibition of Decorative Arts – Yambol, 1980. She received the annual prize of the Union of Bulgarian Artists for Applied and Decorative Arts named after Ivan Penkov. She specialized at the International Center for Arts in Paris. Antonina Konzova works in the field of purely decorative ceramic plastic and the synthesis of ceramics and architecture through monumental wall panels.
