He finished woodcarving at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia under Prof. Asen Vassilev. He works in the field of decorative and monumental arts. His works are owned by the NHG and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as many private collections.
He won the grand prize at the II Quadrinale of Decorative Arts – Erfuhrt in 1978. There is no figuration in this wood carving, but floral ornamentation. The "flame" is shown as a symbol by the stripes in which the stylized vegetation emerges.
