Petar Braykov (1940-1987), Lyubomir Prahov (1936-1994)

Peter Braykov works in the field of graphics, illustration and coin sculpture. He participates in general art exhibitions in Bulgaria and presents Bulgarian graphics all over the world.
Prof. Lyubomir Prahov graduated in Sculpture with Prof. Marko Markov at the Nikolay Pavlovich Institute of Fine Arts (today the National Academy of Arts) in 1962. He was a member of the Sculpture section of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 1965.
This joint relief work combines the sculptural plasticity of Lyubomir Prahov and the graphic manner of Petar Braykov.
Characteristic of their style is that the composition is theatrical and flat.
The images are separated by blocks and are built on the principle of Egyptian composition, which presents space three-dimensionally.
