The mosaic "Architecture and Construction I" combines geometric abstraction and recognizable figures.

Overall, the work is entirely based on the principle of fragmentation and the collage principle. It is created from natural stone. The figures are large, monumental, woven into the abstract fabric of the mosaic panels. The composition is modeled so that the individual details are woven into a complex and rich spatial logic. In the conventional and saturated field of the mosaic, the artist combines a large number of elements of various scales, which refer to the theme of architecture and construction. The saturation of the wall with images of different nature, marking different spatial-rhythmic directions, creates a "pulsating" effect.

The color of the mosaic is balanced, sufficiently contrasting at the level of dark-light, without being flashy and dominating the architecture. The light-shadow and color contrasts enhance the fragmentation, which in turn emphasizes the "collage" principle of construction.

Teofan Sokerov is the author of a large number of wall-monumental works.
